In December 2010, the Prime Minister David Cameron announced that he was recruiting Emma Harrison to lead a drive to get troubled families working again.
Emma said: “My role will be to inspire, to change attitudes, to make sure that every bit of the existing government, voluntary and private effort adds up to this single goal of creating happy, working families. Improving people’s lives is something I have always been personally passionate about, spearheading this campaign, I believe,is a further step forward in achieving this mission. ”
